Staples Used

Modified on Thu, Dec 29, 2016 at 11:15 AM

Our staples are galvanized steel and the hanging hardware is nickel coated.  These are susceptible to rust corrosion when wet, so we will have to custom order stainless steel staples and hanging hardware. The picture wire is copper with a plastic coating so they are protected.

The cost of stainless steel hardware and staples is quite a bit higher than what we are using now. We would also have to build a new workflow in order to make sure our production team uses the right material. The price impact will be $5.50 for stainless steel staples and hardware per canvas.

Please note that aluminum does not rust, but does corrode in the form of aluminum oxide. If you need stainless steel wire on the metal prints, the price impact will be $3.00 per print.
