Packaging

We stretch wrap the canvas in plastic to protect it, then we put bubble wrap around the corners. To get the bubble wrap to stay on, we use a low-tack clear packing tape. This tape peels off from the bubble wrap and stretch wrap very easily. The tape would also not be in contact with the canvas surface because of the layer of stretch wrap. On top of this, the canvas material is very durable. Even if they had applied a high tack duct tape directly to the canvas and remove it, it would not damage it.

I don't think the customer's claim that the tape damaged the canvas is accurate. Perhaps they were having trouble removing the stretch wrap and they used a cutting tool which would have damaged the canvas.

However, we do stand by our products and want to make sure that you and your customers are happy. If the recipient wishes to return the canvas, they are free to do so. Please let me know if they would like to go ahead with this, and we will make a FedEx label to have it shipped to our location. If you wish to, you can take it when you come to pick up your stretched canvases or we can refund you the cost :)
